We were little girls together. Lived on the same block and were inseparable through the fourth grade at Cordova Lane Elementary. I loved her. The last time I saw her was her wedding at the Scottish Rite Temple in Sac. We did not keep in touch. I called her re the 40th CHS reunion and she wasn't interested. I always thought there would be time to visit in the future. Her phone didn't work. I found her husband Ed Ivanovich on fb. He told me she had bone cancer and passed away last October. We never had the time for our visit. She told her family that she had a good life and was ready to let go. Her family introduced me to the Methodist Church (we were Baptists) and I loved it. Now I am a leader in a Methodist Church. I hope to see her in heaven, and we can play and have fun again. I really regret not making more of an effort. Crushed me.

I'm so sorry to hear about Cindy's passing. She was a very wise and sweet person. We didn't keep in touch after graduation. I wish we did, because I now know that I lived near her and we could've hung out. May God bless her beautiful soul forever.Patricia Kelly
I was very sad to learn Cindy had passed away. She was a very special person to me as we moved out together right after high school. Oh.....the fun we had. We both worked at the gas station on Folsom up by the park. She met Ed while we were living together. I was so very happy to hear that they were still together when she passed. I knew she and Ed were meant for each other, and I was happy to see they were together all these years. Cindy and I caught up together occasionally, but not nearly enough for living so nearby. I was hoping to see her at the reunion and share some moments. She was a very special friend. Rest in peace, Cindy. <3
