Tom's sudden passing is such a tremendous loss to our family. We are completely broken-hearted. Tom was a dedicated father and a devoted husband to my sister, Keri. He brought Keri so much joy and laughter. He was a loving uncle to my daughter, Sophia, and his kindness to me will be not be forgotten.

Sincerely, Kim Dougherty

One of a kind indeed! One of the things I really appreciate about the Rancho Cordova Moose Lodge is that it's allowed so many of our classmates to reconnect. Tommy always had a smile! He did things behind the scenes for the betterment of our Lodge and never seeking recognition. I got to know the love he had for Keri and especially his children. He was so proud to be working with his son's at the Golden One Center.

You'll be forever remembered and certainly missed!

May you RIP my friend!

There are no words that can make the loss of our old friend less painful. This was a dark day we never saw coming.

Tommy had a big heart and was easy to love. In all our years of friendship I don't recall a cross word between us.

He was a lover of life who never seemed fazed by life's inevitable misfortunes. He truly was an unconventional, pleasure seeking individual. The book "The Adventures of Tommy" would be a wonderfully crazy story.

He had a short list of friends he loved to call in the very early morning. "Oh, were you sleeping?" "Well you're up now, Ha!" And then talk on for half an hour.

Enjoy every moment you have with those you love. For no one can take joy that is past away from you. It'll be there in your heart to live on when the dark days come. Eleanor Rosevelt

Tom Meredith was my friend and neighbor all through school. We hadn't seen each other in years until the recent 40 yr reunion. What a great guy! I was charmed and really enjoyed his sense of huor, and was impressed with his dedication to his wife and kids and community. We talked about how we all used to meet up and walk to Cordova Lane together. How valuable and precious those memories. I had hoped to keep in touch.... Rest in pece my old friend. Condolences to the family.

I was completely blown away today when I saw of Tom's sudden passing. The last time I spoke with him was at our 35th reunion when I gave him a copy of the article and his picture, from a softball Marathon I attended with Rick Slama & the rest of "The Heads vs The Jocks" that took place the Summer of '74 before we were Seniors.

I can't tell you how elated he was to get a copy of it, and how his beautiful wife Keri told me there would be no living with him now.

I came to the most recent Mixer, but arrived late, so I did not get to speak to him @ his last reunion. For that, I'm sad, as now I will never again have that opportunity. His smile just drew a person in. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family. God Bless & RIP Tommy Meredith. You were one of a kind, my friend!

Sincerely,

Shelley (Rachelle) Leuchter ~ Class of '75

It's taken me this long to post this comment besides the shock of when I heard (thank you Mark Phelan for calling me) I still don't have the word's of not going to be running into Tom.  You see I had seen Tom at he Moose Lodge on Wed. night Dec. 2, after my WOTM meeting & he talked about the party that was held for the union members that were below what him.  He was his happy self as usual ... my dear friend for Life & I know I'll see him again!!!

Keri my heart goes out to you & when Mark Phelan called & told me about Tom after my disbelief .. I ask about you, hoping you weren't alone, so glad you had family & close friend around you!!  All my love always xoxo
